The PERC architecture improve light capture near the rear surface. The rear side of mono PERC solar panel cell has a dielectric layer that reflects the sunlight back to the cell , which might have otherwise passed through the cell without releasing an electron. This way the photon gets an opportunity to generate more electrons thus incrasing electric current and effeciency.
